The Coventry Climax flat-16 engine, model name FWMW was a 1.5-litre engine developed in 1964-1965 as a potential replacement for the successful FWMV V8. It was designed for Formula 1 racing, and though it was never officially raced. It represented the last racing engine designed by the company before it closed.
