The LNER's Express Pacific designs were probably the most famous of the LNER locomotives. Of these Pacific's, the A4 is probably the most famous of all: Its distinctive streamlined shape has come to be a symbol of 1930s luxury and speed. Even today, it is an A4 which holds the world speed record for any steam locomotive in the world.

A Wrenn P4 "MALLARD" NO.4468 LNER Garter Blue Class A4 Pacific 4-6-2 W2210, in it's original box with manual and packing materials.

A fine example Wrenn, model reference W2210 "Mallard" A4 Class Pacific Locomotive. This variation in LNER Garter Blue, is the less produced example by Wrenn with running number 4468.

This locomotive was made with a MK1 chassis and has always been a favourite amongst collectors and layouts across the country. This locomotive was introduced in 1979 with production finishing in 1985.
